what do you put above your kitchen cabinets?
 
 

I have a huge space between my kitchen cabinets and the ceiling. but, everything I put up there gets so dusty. Is that normal?  do you have anything above your cabinets? or just leave them bare?

yes, dust is normal. I have a ceramic plate from Cancun on a plate stand, some ivy and some cook books.

Yes to the dust.

I don't put anything because I like a more uncluttered look but I think it's cute when people put old fashioned kitchen stuff like cans with vintage poster looking labels and old cooking tools.

But that all depends on the style of your kitchen.

so the dust is normal - not just my slacking, huh ? lol I have some canvas totes up there purely for decoration and i have some wicker picnic baskets. I was thinking of doing some art up there (kristi, i like the idea of old vintage posters!)
